I spent a greater portion of my life struggling with weight loss. I’d lose weight, then gain it back, and then lose some more again.
It took me a long time to understand that just because you lose weight it doesn’t mean you experience transformation. All it means is you weigh less.
Weight loss is a side effect of transformation. Transformation starts in your mind and expresses itself in the way you think and act.
You become a difference person on the inside, and the side effect of that is a healthier weight, a happier life, and a more peaceful relationship with food, exercise, and your body.
I lived this experience with my own personal transformation. I wasn’t at my happiest when I was at my lowest weight. Nor did I have the healthiest relationship with the scale, food, or my self.
I’ve witnessed this same effect with my own personal coaching clients. I’ve worked with people who are 200lbs and love their bodies and I’ve also worked with people who are 110lbs and are obsessed with losing weight.

I’ve spent a small fortune on personal coaches over the years on everything from strength training, to finance, to business, to foreign language, to speaking, and more. And these were the periods of my life where I made the biggest leaps in my personal development.
Would I have eventually figured things out on my own? I’d like to think so. But I don’t think there’s a chance it would have happened as fast or as effectively as with the support of a coach.
A good coach knows what to look for. They can identify problems that you’re too close to to see. And then they can offer you a plan of action for overcoming any particular struggle.

Every couple of weeks we’re going to jump on the phone and talk strategy.
We’ll talk about your victories and we’ll talk about your struggles. And then I’ll give you your action items for the next couple of weeks.
I’ll answer all of your questions and we’ll work through problems together. If you’re willing to be open and honest about what you’re experiencing you’re going to do great.
There’s no shame in struggling. I expect you to mess up. This is what I’m here for and I’m going to support you without judgement and from a place of understanding.
No two people need the same approach to nutrition.
Some people like counting calories while others have never even attempted it. Some people are vegan, vegetarian, or need to cut out things like gluten or dairy per their doctor’s request.
During our phone calls we’re going to determine the best course of action for you to take. Maybe that means counting calories in the short term. Maybe it means not counting calories at all and taking a pure intuitive eating approach.
I’ve coached people through all of it and know what to look for in your personality when finding a nutritional strategy you’ll thrive on.
Similar to nutrition, we all need a different approach to exercise.
Not all of us have a gym membership, nor do we all have a desire to go to the gym. Some of us like lifting weights while others prefer bodyweight workouts or simply doing activities like swimming, running, or biking.
I’ve worked with clients where all they did was walk. They still made great progress. Others needed a lot of variety to be happy and stay engaged.
We’re going to figure out what you need together. If you’re a beginner I’m not going to have you doing sprints. And if you don’t enjoy lifting weights I’m not going to have you doing a stereotypical bodybuilder routine.
This is one of the big benefits of personalized coaching. We find what’s effective for the unique personal you are.
The mindset work we’re going to do is what’s going to separate our transformation coaching from all the other ineffective “12 week fat loss blitz” plans you’ve seen.
We’re going to find the real reasons you want to lose weight. We’re going to improve your relationship with the scale. We’re going to have you trusting yourself around food again. And we’re going to have you liking what you see in the mirror and being at peace with your body.
So much of what we do is a direct result of how we think. If you have a perfectionist mindset then you’ll write the whole day or weekend off as a failure simply because you slipped up on a single meal.
If you gain your self worth from others then your motivation will always come from external sources instead of from the desire to be healthy, happy, and functioning as your best you.
Over our time together I’ll be listening to cues and asking questions to uncover what drives you as a person, and then we’ll work together to get you to a place of acceptance, self-care, and then transformation.
I want to make sure that I’m always available to you when you have a problem that needs solving.
So between our twice monthly coaching calls, you’ll also have unlimited priority email access to me to get help with anything you need.
If an unexpected travel event pops up that you need help coming up with a strategy with I’ll be here to help. If you find you’re having trouble adhering to your action plan you can reach out and we’ll work through it together.
I’ll be available Monday-Friday to answer your questions and give you support. That way you’re never left feeling alone on your journey.

A spot in the coaching program costs $300/month and there is a 6 month minimum commitment.
If you aren’t quite ready to commit to that right now I also offer one-off strategy sessions for $200/hour. If you decide after our session that I’m awesome and you were crazy to not sign up for coaching from the start, I will apply that $200 to your first month of coaching so long as you sign up within a week.
